Basic Dog Training

Learn how to teach your dog basic good manners so that s/he will be a pleasure to have around, including:

• walking nicely on leash
• not jumping on people/furniture
• how to behave around strangers and other dogs
• 10 commands you’ll use every day, from “leave it ” to “go to your rug”

Most dogs (over 6 months) start with this class. The emphasis is on fine tuning your training skills so your dog will respond quickly to commands, even in the presence of distractions.

Class meets for an hour every week for seven sessions, and costs $125. Class size is limited eight dogs. Please pre-register with Kirsten.

 

If your dog is fearful or aggressive around strangers or other dogs, you may need private instruction prior to enrolling in a class. Please contact Kirsten for an evaluation.
