Private Training

I am no longer offering private training, however I can recommend Jana Patterson at Happy Dogz 503-201-9707.

Sometimes private training is the best option for addressing a behavior problem with your dog. For example, if your dog is fearful or aggressive, putting her directly into a class might make the problem worse. Also, some problems occur only at home, making training elsewhere impractical. Finally, private training offers the advantage of individual attention and focus on the specific issues you are facing.

Typically, I make a “house call” for the private training session, which generally lasts about an hour and includes written instructions. The fee for this service is $120 per visit (a travel fee may be added, depending on location). For most people, a single session is enough to get started and then you can follow up with a class for more practice in a challenging environment.

Email Kirsten or call 503-307-3168 to discuss whether this is the best approach for your dog.
