Here's another look ahead at what's coming from McKenzie Iron and Steel: The Nash-Quad Log Truck ! Following the First World War, many Quads were sold as Army surplus, and ended up in a variety of civilian uses, including truck logging.

This 1/48th (O scale) Nash-Quad log truck was built by Peter Reisiger from the McKenzie Nash-Quad kit. Added parts, also produced by McKenzie, include the log bunks, 5th wheel assembly and the trailer wheels.

A complete kit, with illustrated instructions, will be available shortly. The "C cab" shown on the model will be one of three different cabs to be offered. Most of the parts will be done in white metal, and to the usual McKenzie quality.

If you have previously purchased a McKenzie Nash-Quad truck kit, you will be able to to purchase the Log Trailer as an add-on unit.
