	I moved to Oroville with my husband, Mike, on Oct. 20th 2000. We are enjoying the area, we are meeting folks around town and participating in the many functions Oroville sponsors throughout the year. Please click on the Oroville link and see what our town has to offer!
	I belong to the Oroville Piecemakers Quilt Guild. We have a very talented group of ladies that make beautiful quilts and share their skills with the group. The guild was founded in 1979 to promote appreciation of fine quilts, contribute to knowledge of quilting and encourage the art of quilt making and collecting. I am the chairperson for the community service projects, we make Kiddie Comforts, Lap Quilts, Duffle Bags, Wheelchair Bags and Hats for chemo patients that are donated to various community agencies that serve people in need. There is a buzz right now over our up coming quilt show May 18th & 19th at the Oroville Municipal Auditorium. We will be featuring our 2002 Opportunity Quilt "Rhapsody in Blue", as well as the many wonderful quilts made by our members.
